a month agoStopped here on Saturday for lunch when driving up to Cleveland from Columbus. Randomly found this place & so happy we did. Carryout only on the weekends- no biggie just ate in the truck. Hubby got the burger with bacon & man that thing was huge. Said was the best sandwich he’s had in awhile. Great flavor, great ingredients - super messy but worth it. He didn’t even eat dinner it was that damn filling. I had a plain old waffle & was crispy & fluffy & super dense. Was absolutely perfect & satisfied my sweet tooth. If we are ever back up here again will definitely stop by.

a month agoCame in on Mother’s Day fully expecting it to be super busy, and the cashier was absolutely amazing. She let us know up front that the wait would be about an hour and 25 minutes, but even while working by herself with tons of orders coming through the window, she was pushing them out fast and staying so kind and professional the entire time. When we finally got our food… 100/10. The shrimp and grits were amazing, and the peach stuffed waffle was chef’s kiss. Definitely worth the wait. We will absolutely be back again, probably on a weekday so we can dine in next time!

4 months agoAbsolutely amazing breakfast spot! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The service was fast and super friendly, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience. Definitely one of my go-to places for breakfast — highly recommend!

4 months agoThe food was truly amazing the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the cashier, good music is playing, and the vibe is just right. They don’t just serve good food they serve good vibes. The cashier (with glasses and the most welcoming smile) made the experience even better. She was patient, friendly, and gave the best recommendation. She put me on the shrimp po’ boy and let me tell you… it was everything, affordable, filling, and it comes with fries and a drink. My wife is still talking about the shrimp and grits a week later that’s how you know it’s serious. Great food, great energy, and top-tier service. This place is a must. 🔥

7 months agoFirst time eating here with coworkers and this place is amazing!! The food was so delicious and looked amazing. The portion sizes are great and the atmosphere is a vibe I loved the chill music they were playing. I would absolutely come back here.

11 months agoOne of my favorite restaurants in the city! The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the food is great. Every time i visit the catfish is a MUST. The restaurant is about 25 minutes from me but i make the drive for good food and good service. I am even more excited that they now offer extended delivery through UberEats so on days I want to stay in, me and my kids can still have a good meal! It’s so nice and refreshing to be able to enjoy food from a black owned business that actually cares about their customers.

a year agoThe fried fish 🤌 perfect. The chicken? Fall off the bone. The grits with some cheese on top 🫶 just a great meal all around. First stop on our trip into Cleveland and it was a great stop. The service was great and if I'm back in the city again I'll definitely be back.
